Oppo's 4G phone has 2.5D arc edge screen

Guangdong Oppo Electronics Industry Co. Ltd has launched the R7 model, a 4G phone with a 2.5D arc edge screen. The smartphone utilizes an MT6752 octa-core 64-bit CPU 1.7GHz, and has 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It adopts a 5in full HD AMOLED touchscreen and runs on a built-in 2,300mAh battery. The R7 supports VOOC flash charge, which powers the phone in only five minutes enough to last for a two-hour call.

The model has an 8MP front camera with F2.4 aperture and a 13MP rear camera with F2.2 aperture. The cameras can fast-focus within 0.1 second.

Established in 2009, Guangdong Oppo is one of the top 10 mobile phone manufacturers in China. Its overall mobile phone sales volume reached 30 million units in 2014.
