Palm-sized LED lamp offers portable sunlight [Startup Launchpad]

With a palm-sized, ball-shaped body having a diameter of 7mm, the model BTXL0001 LED lamp from Hangzhou Light-Hi Tech Co. Ltd is portable and can be placed on any surface or attached from any wall using a special mount. It mimics the warm yellow glow of the sun. The unit is also Bluetooth-enabled and comes with an Android- and iOS-compatible app, in which the user can input his preferred settings regarding brightness and other lighting effects.

The Red Dot award-winning LED lamp can also be switched on by gently tapping its body. Long presses will adjust the light’s brightness. The unit is built with a 1,400mAh Li-ion battery.
