Rockwell Automation and Augury are deepening their relationship with a new technology and sales partnership aimed at helping factories turn machine data into quicker maintenance action. The companies said the collaboration combines Augury's Industrial AI Workforce with Rockwell's
Fiix maintenance software and FactoryTalk Optix platform, creating a linked workflow that connects equipment health insights with maintenance
planning and production context.

The effort is meant to address a familiar problem in manufacturing: companies are gathering more data and using more AI, but much of that information still fails to translate into action. Rockwell's State of Smart Manufacturing Report found that only 43% of collected data is used
effectively, a gap the companies say their joint offering is designed to narrow by moving users from detection and diagnosis to execution and
continuous improvement.

At the center of the integration is Augury's Reliability Agent, which analyzes machine conditions, flags emerging problems and recommends corrective steps. Fiix MAX, Rockwell's AI-based maintenance assistant, is then intended to convert those recommendations into workflows, work orders and other execution steps. Rockwell has said the pairing is designed to reduce the lag between spotting a fault and fixing it, while also helping teams weigh the operational impact of an issue before taking action.

The partnership also reflects a broader shift in industrial software toward systems that do more than display alerts. Manufacturers increasingly want AI tools that fit into existing operating routines rather than sit on top of them, and both companies are framing the deal around that idea. Elan
Greenberg, chief executive of Augury, said in a statement that the goal is to put industrial intelligence into the hands of front-line teams, while Angela Rapko, vice president and general manager for visualization and asset management at Rockwell, said manufacturers need a faster path
to action rather than more notifications. The companies said the initial offering is expected in September.
