Selection of classic toys from Vietnam continues to expand

Recent releases have components that encourage physical activity and different types of learning.

Suppliers in Vietnam are expanding their selections of puzzles, building sets and other classic toys with the addition of models that offer several development opportunities. Play activities are often designed to encourage physical activity, stimulate creativity and logical thinking, and introduce children to science, math and other subjects.

Among the latest releases are balancing games that develop children's fine motor skills and introduce them to the concept of weight and balance. Pull-along toys are offered with removable components, shape sorters or building sets to foster shape recognition, creative thinking and problem solving.

To expand learning opportunities for children, manufacturers of building sets, puzzles and pull-along toys are incorporating pictures or shapes of animals and fruit, as well as numbers and letters of the alphabet, in their designs. In stuffed toys, models inspired by mythical creatures such as dragons and unicorns are being offered besides those patterned after bears and other real animals.

The trend for models that offer different play options and learning opportunities is also apparent in electronic toys. Fishing toys allow for several players and offer different difficulty levels.
