Bo Chen Biotechnology Co. Ltd's BC001 model is a pair of patented self-warming insoles that can generate heat without the need for a power source. The thermal element is located are the front while a piezoelectric mechanism is placed at the back. The latter adopts the force made by the user's gravity to produce heat, keeping the feet warm and helping improve blood circulation.

The heated insoles are made of breathable latex, and are anti-bacterial, sweat-absorbent, water-resistant and biodegradable. They are also lightweight and flexible. Size options are S to XL. Pure EVA, and EVA-spandex or -flake yarn versions are also offered. Colors, designs, materials and sizes can be buyer-specified. The product has won gold medals at the 2015 Geneva International Invention Exhibition and 2017 INPEX Trade Show in Pittsburgh, US.
