This tear-down showcase revealed the electronic components used to make the latest drones, robotics, automotive, wearable and smart security products. About 280 components were on display, including Wi-Fi modules, sensors, PCBs, switches and connectors.

Global Sources Electronics, the world's largest electronics sourcing trade show, ran in two phases, October 11-14 and 18-21, at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Expo. The first phase featured products in emerging and high-growth categories, including virtual reality and gaming, outdoor imaging, sports electronics, electric personal transporters, and drones and robotics. The second phase showcased the latest smartphones, tablets, wearable devices and mobile accessories.
