Skechers teams up with Jakks to launch Twinkle Toes dolls

The collaboration has resulted in four 6.5in fashion dolls wearing light-up Skechers Twinkle Toes sneakers.

Footwear maker Skechers has partnered with toymaker Jakks Pacific to create a dolls line based on Skechers' popular Twinkle Toes character. Twinkle Toes has been the company's top performing children's footwear line since it was launched in 2008.

The dolls line consists of four dolls 6.5in high, and dressed in fashion-forward outfits and light-up Skechers Twinkle Toes sneakers. The dolls are available at Toys 'R' Us for $16.99 and will debut at certain Target stores in fall-2015.

The dolls will also appear in bimonthly webisodes on TwinkleToesUSA.com starting July 11. Each episode will feature the Twinkle Girls learning various life lessons and themes such as friendship and the importance of education. The digital media content is animated by Cosmic Toast Studios.
