Shenzhen Qianhai Icecold IT Co. Ltd has launched the PG16K02 model, a pair of smart glasses that can improve the user’s sleep quality. Also known as Pegasi, the device adopts a technology that generates lights to stimulate the brain’s suprachiasmatic nucleus. This process modifies the secretion levels of melatonin and cortisol, which are hormones related to stress and sleep timing. The glasses work with a mobile app, which enables users to choose the right energy-boosting protocol for them. The app can monitor the wearer’s sleep status and store all recorded data in the cloud.

Pegasi is recommended to be used for 24 minutes between 7am and 9am for seven consecutive days. For night time, it can be worn between 7pm and 2am the next day.

The Bluetooth 4.0-enabled device runs on a 250mAh battery. It is made of PC and ABS.

Shenzhen Qianhai Icecold is a China startup that focuses on health-related wearables.
