GardenSpace is a 360-degree security camera and gardener that waters plants and wards off pests.

Among the latest Kickstarter hits to watch out for in gardening is GardenSpace, which rolls out in October 2018. The product is a smart camera that can guard and water plants.

GardenSpace got fully funded fast with still more than a month to go before its campaign ends thanks to its intelligent features. The smart camera supports Wi-Fi, a mobile app, and 360-degree motion-tracking via its moving disc-shaped head, letting users monitor up to a 100sqft of land all day.

The smart garden camera also analyzes plant type, chlorophyll levels and temperature. It knows the amount of water needed daily, keeping plants hydrated through its automatic water spray. When the camera senses pests or animals, it scares them off using water as well.

In addition, GardenSpace is energy-efficient and time-saving. It has a solar panel on top that harnesses energy from the sun. There is no need for batteries and wires, thus, users save on electricity costs. The smart camera also makes garden management quick and easy. The app can be used to plan a garden, from assigning space for crops or plants to ordering seeds.

Automatic app-based garden watering systems are all over the market for some time already but what is innovative with this product is that it automates not only irrigation but also pest control.
