This ergonomically designed smart pen from Fuzhou YBPOO Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd, YC-02L model, teaches proper handwriting and grip to children 6 to 12 years old. It has a triangular end at the nib to keep fingers closer to the nib and away from the tip. As additional prompt, the tip bounces back, or the pen lights up and produces a sound when the writing gesture or grip posture is incorrect.

The 16cm-long and 16g multifunction pen has a rechargeable battery, which on a full charge supports use for 5 to 20 hours and has standby time of 6 months. Charging takes 1 to 1.5 hours.

The model is available in ballpoint and gel pen, and propelling pencil variants. The housing is made of ABS and PC.
