Annual numbers for GlobalSources.com’s top 20 electronics remain strong, with 17 categories generating higher inquiries YoY in April 2014.

Watch phones posted the biggest jump. April requests for information about the product soared more than 530 percent from the same month last year. That time, watch phones was not even in the list of the 20 most popular consumer electronics, and computer and telecom products on Global Sources.

TPU mobile phone cases similarly pulled in solid inquiries. YoY, RFIs grew 496 percent even though these are 5 percent lower on-month.

From a monthly perspective, PC cases for iPhone stood out for registering the highest growth rate at 125 percent as novelty designs ranging from playful to chic continue to catch buyers’ eyes.
