Home products top 20 newcomer cushions broke into the April 2014 listing thanks to a flurry of buyer inquiries translating into a dramatic 60,131 percent jump YoY. The line’s popularity among GlobalSources.com buyers rose 268 percent on-month.

Cushions is one of 10 new entrants when the April 2014 and April 2013 top 20 are compared. In terms of the actual number of requests for information received, dining chairs performed best among these categories, securing fifth place in the listing. Annual growth rate is likewise impressive at 992 percent.

Dining chairs is not a total newcomer, however, having appeared in the March 2014 top 20. April 2014 RFIs outpaced the previous month’s by 9 percent.

Cup and saucer sets, meanwhile, is a first-timer in both YoY and on-month classifications. Inquiries jumped 485 percent from a year ago and 73 percent from March.
