Vivo Communication Technology Co. Ltd launched recently the Nex model, an Android 8.1-based 4G smartphone that boasts a pop-up 8MP f/2.0 camera on the front. It has dual-core 12+5MP rear cameras with respective apertures of f/1.8 and f/2.4. The unit supports multiple beauty modes and HDR, and is said to provide clear images even in low brightness. The device runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU based on Kryo 385 architecture, and packs 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM.

The smartphone adopts a full metal body, and a 6.59in Super AMOLED FHD+ bezel-less display with an aspect ratio of 19.3:9 and a resolution of 2316x1080 pixels. An in-display fingerprint sensor is also incorporated. The handset supports dual-SIM and measures 162x77x7.98mm.
