Red Dot awardee Spectra Pro 02 model from Walnut Technology Ltd is the world's first electric skateboard featuring an intelligent 3D posture control system, consisting of built-in pressure and gyro sensors. This mechanism tracks and adjusts to the user's body movements and position for a smooth ride. The unit reaches speeds of up to 15.5kph at a distance of 12.4 miles. It is also equipped with a smart ABS brake and LEDs. The e-skateboard runs on a 200W hub motor and is powered by a 22.2V 88.8Wh 18650 lithium battery. Charging time is 1.5 hours.

The Bluetooth 4.0-enabled unit has a carbon fiber body and detachable PU wheels. The skateboard measures 493x280x136mm and weighs 5.8kg. It is IP4-rated, and can be app- or remote-controlled. Accessories include a charger, micro-USB cable and sleeves.

Walnut is a technology company with offices in Hong Kong, and Shenzhen and Dongguan in Guangdong province. The manufacturer can produce 3,000 electric skateboards each month.
