This travel bag floats on water, and keeps contents dry and protected from impact. And it is currently making waves on Kickstarter.

Dubbed as Capsula backpack, the bag features an internal valve system for inflating the inner chamber, giving it the ability to stay afloat in any body of water while, at the same time, doubling as an anti-shock system that cushions the objects inside from impact.

To prevent moisture from seeping in, the bag utilizes airtight Nyzeal zippers for the closure and has 100 percent 3D HF welded seams. The Capsula backpack's nylon shell is also TPU-coated for enhanced tear and abrasion resistance.

User convenience and comfort are likewise highlighted. The knapsack's interior design, for instance, enables modular organization, making it easier to access the contents. The lining adopts Omni-Tape Velcro, which keeps things in place. In addition, the bag comes with adjustable straps with removable padding.

The Capsula backpack measures 43x29x14cm and has a capacity of 17.46L. Early-bird price is $169. Capsula laptop and camera bags are also available.

The crowding campaign has already nearly doubled its initial goal of $22,000 with about a month to go. The first batch of bags is set to ship in April 2017.
