Billed as the world’s first modular smart watch, the Blocks allows customization by incorporating a variety of modules that are assigned to special functions. The model consists of six swappable modules, namely battery, programmable button, flashlight, GPS, heart rate and Adventure, which is a 3-in-1 sensor that tracks pressure, humidity and temperature. Each module is housed in PC. When attached together, they form as the watch strap.

The product adopts a 1.39in 400x400-pixel AMOLED display, which supports two-point touch even when the user’s finger is wet. It uses a stainless steel case, carries a Qualcomm APQ8099w CPU, and packs 512MB RAM and 4GB flash.

London-based startup Blocks has won various recognition, including the People’s Choice Award at Intel’s Make it Wearable Challenge and the Red Dot Best Design Award in 2015.
