Typhoons

The latest tropical cyclone warnings and related announcements are broadcast on radio and TV and posted on the Hong Kong Observatory website (www.hko.gov.hk).

Typhoon Signal 1/3

The exhibition remains open.

Typhoon Signal 8 or above

- If the signal is hoisted before 8:30 am, the exhibition will close.
- If it is hoisted during exhibition operating hours, Global Sources will make announcements 2 hours prior to the exhibition's closure, except in cases where immediate closure is necessary due to special circumstances.
- If the signal is lowered before 2:00 pm, the exhibition will reopen after 2 hours.
- If it is lowered after 2:00 pm, the exhibition will remain closed for the rest of the day.

Amber & Red Rainstorm Warnings	The exhibition remains open.
Black Rainstorm Warning	- If hoisted before 8:30 a.m., the exhibition will close until the rainstorm warning is lowered and reopens after 2 hours. - If hoisted during the exhibition's operation period, the exhibition will continue, and it is advised to stay indoors until the rainstorm warning has been lowered.

Transportation Arrangements

When tropical cyclone warning signals are hoisted, it is advisable to regularly check the MTR official website (https://www.mtr.com.hk/en/customer/main/typhoon_readiness.html) and news for transportation updates.

Airport Express Link (AEL)	- Typhoon Signal 8: Limited service with reduced frequencies - Typhoon Signal 9/10: Service suspended
Black Rainstorm Warning	- Typhoon Signal 8: Continue running for 1 hour after the typhoon announcement, unless immediate closure is required due to special circumstances. - Typhoon Signal 9/10: Service suspended
