In August, Noitom Technology Ltd. (Beijing) launched its latest movement tracking system on Kickstarter—the Perception Neuron project. This system uses one of the world's smallest full-functioned 9-axis IMUs with on-board calculation and calibration algorithms. It can provide accurate data to a wearable hub and then transmit data to a computer or other devices via WiFi or USB port.

This system also contains SDK for both Unity and Oculus Rift and open source demo games. The system can be used in VFX (visual special effects), game interaction, virtual reality, sports analysis and stage performance.

A standard pack of Neuron system contains 10 IMUs and one Hub. Gloves and body straps will also be included in the package. Users can place the IMUs anywhere on the gloves or body straps according to their needs. The IMU measures 12x12x6mm and weighs 6g.
