AquaTree gets some water containing carbon dioxide and nitrites to nourish plants and circulates it back filtered for the fishes.

The AquaTree is a 3D-printed indoor gardening system introduced in Kickstarter. It uses aquaponics, circulating water from its fish tank to grow the plants or seeds it holds and vice versa.
The fish in the tank converts oxygen in the water to carbon dioxide. There is bacteria generated which will produce nitrites from ammonia. With all these in the water that is pumped, plants are nourished. The plants will then change oxygen back to carbon dioxide and the water will be filtered back into the fish tank.
Besides the built-in filter, the indoor gardening system boasts convenience for it has detachable trays and is portable. It also can grow many types of vegetables, herbs and fruits.
No-soil indoor gardening systems are going mainstream. Other recent releases that can care for plants on their own or recommend settings are sprouting up in many platforms for crowdfunding. In China, there are easy-to-contact manufacturers specializing in these smart hydroponic systems.
