This 7-segment LED display from HongKong Double Light Electronics Technology Co. Ltd features 0.5in-high superbright red digits that are readable at a distance of up to 7m.

The common-cathode type delivers a luminous intensity of 55mcd and has a peak emission wavelength of 640nm. Per segment, the forward current is 20mA and the power dissipation 100mW. The reverse voltage is 5V. The unit operates in -40 to 80 C.

HongKong Double Light runs a 6,000sqm factory with eight production lines. It sources materials and components from Taiwan, the US, Japan and South Korea, all of which are RoHS-compliant. QC is done in-house and starts from IQC. Month production capacity is about 20 million units.
