Presented at the October 2015 Global Sources Mobile Electronics show, Shanghai Nine Eagles Electronic Technology Co. Ltd's Tourist 1 is an aerial drone with a special lifting design for its camera. The camera will descend automatically at takeoff for wide-angle vision. During landing, the gimbal will retract the camera to protect it. A radar-based intelligent safety system can detect automatically obstacles on the drone's path and avoid them. The drone can be controlled by a smartphone.
