After joining the Micro Four Thirds or MFT standard early in 2015, DJI Innovations has finally unveiled an MFT camera designed for drones. The Zenmuse X5 is DJI’s first MFT PTZ camera designed to work with its Inspire 1 drone system. The Zenmuse X5 can shoot 4K videos at 30fps and capture stills at 16MP. Video resolutions are 4096x2160 pixels at 24fps and 3840x2160 pixels at 30/25fps. Aperture range is from f1.7 to f16. Focal length is 15mm with a focusing distance range of 0.2mm. Viewing angle is 72 degrees. The Zenmuse X5 adopts a 3-axis gimbal for enhanced stability in flight.

The model measures 120x135x140mm and weighs 526g. It also comes in another version, the Zenmuse X5R.
