First badminton sensor from China records data for 7 hours

This sensor from UBC can calculate the stress and speed of a user’s swing movements.

Shenzhen UBC Corporation presents USENSE, a badminton sensor billed as the first of its kind in China. Designed specifically for badminton enthusiasts, this sensor can calculate the stress and speed of a user’s swing movements. It can also analyze a user's playing feature for skills improvement. This cube sensor can be attached to a racket and record data for a maximum of 7 hours. Collected data can then be transferred when the sensor is connected to a smartphone.

USENSE measures 27x27x10mm and weighs 8g. Users can hardly feel the weight of the sensor while playing. USENSE also features a built-in 6-axis sensor and a 32-bit processor that can recognize and analyze a user’s movements.

Shenzhen UBC was established in 2014. The company focuses on sports sensors. The company's expertise includes motion algorithm, smart hardware and data processing. Currently, it has smart sports sensor for badminton, table tennis, tennis and golf.
