Many are offering cotton shirts that are quick to dry and resist shrinking, pilling and wrinkling. Sportswear, jackets and shorts made of polyester or spandex are breathable, water- and wind-resistant, and have anti-bacterial features.

For formal wear, suppliers are offering suit jackets made of polyester, wool or a fabric blend with breathable, anti-wrinkle and anti-static features. Designs have one or two vents at the back.

Various types of breathable underwear come in cotton, rayon or spandex. Models have anti-bacterial and anti-static features.

Small companies, which typically focus on a specific kind of apparel, have up to seven people in their design teams. Midsize operations, which usually offer several types of clothing, have up to 12 designers. Large makers have more than 12 people in their design teams.
