Advanced car black boxes from South Korea suppliers integrate ADAS features such as LDWS, FCWS and FVSA.
South Korea manufacturers of car black boxes look to add more functionality to provide driver and vehicle protection. Major companies have introduced models enhanced with advanced driver assistance systems or ADAS features such as lane departure and forward collision warning, and forward vehicle start alert.
Across types, suppliers deemphasize LCDs, focusing instead on Wi-Fi connectivity to enable streaming and saving of video data to Android and iOS smartphones. They said this is a popular feature in export models, although there are still variants with displays.
Mainstream products are equipped with G-sensors, and come with built-in or external GPS and dual FHD cameras. High-end kinds use Sony image sensors and support QHD. A number are capable of night vision. Instead of embedded memory, the majority of models have a card slot for up to 256GB to allow viewing on PCs.
