Many new models are disguised as devices one would not associate with security.
China suppliers are extending effort to conceal cameras. While many units are usually embedded in wearables such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth smart watches, and sunglasses, new hidden cameras now take the form of devices not associated with security. The latest designs resemble and function as tabletop clocks and mini media players or speakers.
Besides recording and capturing HD videos and images, these units can detect motion and see at night. Makers have rolled out versions that send out alerts and can be managed constantly via mobile phone apps, computers and tablets. Some integrate entertainment functions, doubling as MP3 and MP4 players, radios or speakers. The devices are adopting Wi-Fi and P2P to communicate with users from any location.
The products in this gallery have been handpicked by our China-based Market Analysts for representing current trends in hidden cameras.
