Also known as two-in-one hybrids, detachable laptops from China makers are becoming more flexible not only in form factor but also in operating systems on which they are based. Most models run Windows and Android, allowing users to access more software and do multi-booting.
Display-wise, units adopt 10 to 14.1in LCD touchscreens that convert into a tablet when the Bluetooth keyboard is removed. The standard resolution is 800x1280 pixels but some models up the game by using 1920x1080-pixel displays. For memory, the selection packs 2 to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Models often have quadcore CPUs and Intel Bay Trail is the preferred processor. Built-in features include dual cameras, a microphone, speakers and OTG support.

It converts into a tablet when the Bluetooth keyboard is detached. The product has 2GB DDR RAM and 32GB storage. It is powered by a 10,000mAh battery and comes with a 0.3MP built-in front camera. Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0EDR are supported. Dimensions are 350x232.6x20.5mm.

It is fitted with a 3-axis G-sensor, and adopts front and rear cameras that shoot at 2MP each. The unit uses an Intel Bay Trail-T CR Z8300 CPU and an Intel HD Graphics GPU. It has a 10.1in, 800x1280-pixel IPS screen, which can work independently without the keyboard. The Windows 10 device is powered by a 6,000mAh battery. The unit has ports for OTG flash drive, TF card, 3.5mm earphone jack and USB.
1920x1200-pixel HD screen
The model V100 Windows 10-based detachable laptop from Shenzhen Hagile Tech Co. Ltd has a 10.1in 1920x1200-pixel HD screen. It employs an Intel Bay Trail CR 3735 CPU at 1.8GHz and packs 2GB DDR RAM and 64GB storage. The unit comes with a 0.3MP front-facing camera and supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. It connects to peripherals via USB, OTG flash drive, HDMI and Bluetooth 4.0. A 10,000mAh battery is employed. The 350x232.6x20.5mm device comes with an anti-skid kickstand.

Shenzhen Herofun Bio-Tech Co. Ltd has designed the model IQ108 detachable laptop with a 10.1in 1280x800 IPS LCD screen. The device supports video playback in 1080 pixels at 30fps. It is fitted with 1W speakers, and 2MP front and 5MP rear cameras. The device adopts an Intel Bay Trail-T Z3735F CPU and an Intel HD Graphics GPU. It packs 2GB DDR3L RAM and 32GB eMMc flash memory. A 6,000mAh built-in rechargeable battery is adopted. The unit has a microSD card slot, and supports Micro-USB and HDMI.

It runs on a quadcore Intel Cherry Trail Z8300/Z8350 CPU, which clocks in at 1.83GHz, and has 2GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB ROM. Powered by an 8,000mAh built-in battery, the device can work for up to eight hours per charge. The gadget, which also has a 2MP front camera, is based on Windows 10.
