Manufacturers of LED drivers in China are focusing on types that support dimming and are in ultrathin configurations for increasingly popular smart lights.

Units compatible with PWM and DALI technologies, which enable a wide dimming range of 0.025 to 100 percent, are highly in demand, as are slimmer profiles. There are suppliers in China that offer products as thin as 19mm.

Constant-current and constant-voltage LED drivers for indoor and outdoor applications make up the mainstream selection in China. These have 3 to 500W rated power, 0.95 power factor and more than 80 percent efficiency.
