China's flexible LED strip lineup for outdoor applications consists of units integrating 5050, 3528 or 2835 SMD diodes at 30, 40 or 60 units per meter. The products come in 6, 9, 12 and 24V, and IP65 to IP68-rated versions. There are white, warm white, red, blue, green, yellow and multicolor models. All are compliant with RoHS guidelines.
There are also releases with value-added features such as dimmable function and various lighting effects.
Companies remain open to customization, generating 30 to 50 percent of business from OEM and ODM projects.
SMD LEDs, ICs, flexible PCBs, PVC and silicone tubes, and epoxy resin, PU and silicone adhesives are the main components and materials used. With the exception of the second, the inputs are from domestic providers. Makers turn to overseas suppliers on request only.
Input costs dropped in past months, resulting in lower product prices by less than 5 percent. This downward trend is expected in 2016.

IP68-rated flexible LED strip has 5050 SMD diodes
The model AA1B2F40 flexible LED strip from Shenzhen Trump Lighting Technology Co. Ltd adopts SMD 5050 diodes in white and multiple colors, and has a 120-degree beam angle. The IP68-rated product measures 13x4mm. It comes in 5m rolls.
The unit has an average life span of more than 40,000 hours. It meets CE and RoHS requirements.
The minimum order is 20 rolls, and delivery time is 10 days.
