Companies in South Korea are adopting compatible materials for TPU mobile phone cases such as PC for improved wear and shock resistance.
South Korea makers offer TPU mobile phone cases that combine high elasticity, flexibility and durability for enhanced device protection. They are taking this a step further by using two-shot injection molding to turn out products with PC for higher quality. The goal is to differentiate selections from low-priced, mass-manufactured releases and sharpen global competitive edge.
In addition, the cases adopt coatings for comfortable but nonslip grip, rounded corners for snug-fit and extra shock protection, and bundle finger rings doubling as kickstands. Hand straps are provided optional accessories. Suppliers said back covers are still more popular than diary-type cases.
Prices are dropping as competition heats up due to the huge volume of products on the market.
