Mainstream wireless charging coils from China suppliers are based on magnetic induction standards Qi and PMA.

China suppliers of wireless charging coils turn out Qi- and PMA-compliant types, with the former dominating supply. Products have 5, 7 or 10V output voltage and more than 70 percent transfer efficiency.

There are round and rectangular versions in sizes that vary and depend on the application. Typical models are 0.5 to 2.5mm in thickness. These conform to RoHS guidelines and are UL-listed.

Besides wireless chargers for smartphones and wearable electronics, the target applications include gaming devices, batteries and chargers, tablet PCs, flashlights, electronic toys and automatic systems.

The key components and materials used in the production of wireless charging coils are aluminum heat sinks, enameled wires, ferrite cores and PET, all of which come from local providers.
