Global Sources Fashion presents free conferences

Attendees at this year's spring edition of Global Sources Fashion will have the opportunity to broaden their industry knowledge and pick up practical sourcing strategies by participating in a series of conferences at the show.

Led by industry experts, the seminars will be held on April 27 from 12nn to 2:45pm at the Fashion Parade Stage in Hall 11 of the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.

Fashion Snoops sales and marketing head for Asia-Pacific Michael Leow will provide an in-depth look at the key trend directions for fashion accessories in spring and summer 2018 and discuss how these will impact footwear, handbags, jewelry and other accessories designs.

Maryann Wong, Fashion & Home director of sales and marketing at Pantone, meanwhile, will talk about the latest color trends.

PassageMaker Group founder Mike Bellamy will share effective China souring strategies. Among the topics he is set to discuss are keeping up with the rapidly changing sourcing and manufacturing landscape in China, avoiding scams and bad suppliers, protecting intellectual property, negotiating prices, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
