Global Sources Gifts & Home concludes successful fall edition

Smart and creative releases were the trade show's most sought after highlights.

The Global Sources Gifts & Home show wraps up another successful staging providing buyers a unique and productive one-stop sourcing experience with thousands of trendy, innovative and export-ready products. The trade event ran from October 18 to 21 at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.

Visitors got the opportunity to try first-hand awarding-winning and inventive releases at pair of the show's inaugural specialized pavilions, the Design Corner and Creative Product Demo Zone. Standout products included app-enabled olive oil bottle, tealight-powered lamp and nail polish packed in a cake music box.

The 2017 Cool Design Award, another first-time feature, gave recognition to cutting-edge releases, which were chosen by product experts and international designers. Among the winners were the smart musical planter, collapsible water bottle, color-changing baby spoon and fast-cooling travel mug.

Attendees were also able to check out attractive and sustainable products from emerging Asia hubs, including India, Vietnam and the Philippines, at the New Markets Sourcing Zone and on-trend kitchen accessories at the Yangjiang Pavilion. Hot hues of the season were presented by Pantone at the Color Trends Area.

Guests also had the chance to enhance their China sourcing know-how with practical tips from industry experts at trade event's free conferences.

The Global Sources Gifts & Home show will open its spring edition this April with a new wave of exciting and awesome products and features.

Global Sources Gifts & Home is co-located with the Global Sources Mobile Electronics show. Together these specialized trade events host more than 3,800 booths.
