There's a very strong market for electric cars right now, and it's only getting stronger as the world keeps driving forward. Back in 2020, Global Sources reported how the emerging EV market was boosted by consumers' need to find alternative modes of transport as governments worldwide imposed travel restrictions to curb the pandemic's progress. Electric cars offer eco-friendliness that remains a must-have and this year, their market is still showing very promising growth as newer and better models are manufactured.

According to Nasdaq's report explaining why 2022 will be a major year for electric cars, more than 200 cities across the world are aiming to have "100 percent clean energy" by 2030, 2040 and 2050, and this plan is in motion now. The article also mentions that in just over five years - 2016 to 2021 - the world has gone from 0.3 to 10 percent EV adoption. Falling costs yet improving technology and increased demand for greener transportation are all factors to credit for this remarkable growth.
