The Approach S6 from Garmin is a slim, lightweight and feature-packed GPS golf watch. It is designed with swing metrics, a first-of-its kind feature that can detect a user’s swing tempo and strength and provide training suggestions. The watch is preloaded with more than 38,000 international courses and users can get their course view through the high-resolution, full-color touch screen. It has a pin pointer that provides blind shot assistance and points a user to the right direction when they are unable to see the pin. This watch can give a directional arrow heading to the pin and display the distance at the same time. Further, this watch has smartphone notification function to prevent users from missing calls or SMS. Approach S6’s other useful golf functions include layup distance, precise yardage and statistics tracking.

The watch weighs 46.6g and measures 4.5x4.5x1.42cm. The round shape display has a diameter of 2.54cm and it features a 180x180-pixel resolution. Its battery can last 20 weeks under the watch function or 10 hours on GPS mode. The outer shell is made of rugged material.
