Models often work on quadband GSM, sending notifications by phone calls or SMS. Apps work with iOS and Android gadgets, and allow remote monitoring and home automation.

    App-controlled

    Clouds’ A6-RFID model is a GSM wireless intruder alarm that can be set up via an app. The app comes in Android and iOS versions. Notifications are sent via a phone call and an SMS when the alarm is triggered. The app also allows real-time temperature checking and monitoring. Arming and disarming are done using RFID tags.

    GSM+PSTN

    King-Eye Security Industry Co. Ltd
    The model KI-PG40W-U2 wireless intruder alarm works on PSTN and GSM 850, 900, 1,800 and 1,900MHz. The unit supports 30 wireless and eight wired zones, each with its own attribute, name, bypass, alarm delay, intelligent door sensor function and beep setting indicator. Five phone/SMS alarm numbers can be preset into the system. Arm and alarm delay settings are user-determined. Operating power range is 100 to 230VAC or 12VDC 1A. Working temperature is -10 to 70 C with 5 to 80 percent humidity.

    Wi-Fi with GPRS option

    The Wi-Fi+GSM wireless intruder alarm GS-G90B model from Shenzhen Golden delivers push notifications via GPRS when Wi-Fi is not available. The unit is controlled by an Android/iOS app and the first user to scan the QR code on the app page is assigned administrator level. Thirty wireless and four wired defense zones, and four wired relay output are supported. The model can store six phone numbers to call and three that will receive push notifications. The capacitive touchscreen has a white backlight.

    Home automation

    Shenzhen Meian’s ST-VB model functions as a home automation system, allowing users to control remotely several home appliances, including PCs. The GSM-based wireless intruder alarm has a TCP/IP module and can be armed or disarmed via an RFID tag. It has a touch panel and is controlled by an app. The last comes in Android and iOS versions.

    Dual-/quadband GSM

    Shenzhen Soan Electronic Technology Co. Ltd
    The model SN5100 wireless intruder alarm from Shenzhen Soan has dual- and quadband GSM options that support 900 or 1,800MHz and 850, 900, 1,800 or 1,900MHz, respectively. It can switch from GSM to PSTN and logs up to 85 events. Forty-seven wireless detectors and eight wired connections are supported. The watchdog function plays a 12s prerecorded voice message. The model has a built-in timer, and high-capacity rechargeable and 7A backup batteries. Shenzhen Soan requires an MOQ of 100 sets.

    PIR sensor-equipped

    Zhuhai Fujing Technology Co. Ltd
    Zhuhai Fujing’s FJ002 model is a patented wireless door chime that uses a PIR sensor with a 100-degree, 20 to 26ft field range. It sounds off an alarm or chime when motion is detected. Volume is adjustable. The battery-powered unit is housed in plastic and can double as a safety and security device for the elderly, children or physically impaired.
