Hefei Quickly Electric Co. Ltd's shortwave heating tube uses a gold-coated quartz infrared element. Its gold reflector is designed to help reduce power consumption by more than 50 percent.

The model has 1 to 1.4µm wavelength and 200kW/sqm maximum power density. The reaction time is 1sec. The surface temperatures are 400 to 600 C, 600 to 800 C and 800 to 1,000 C. The unit lasts 5,000 hours.

Versions in 110, 220 and 380V and 0.3 to 6kW are available. These are 300mm to 3m long and 10 to 18mm in diameter.
