Julbox allows users to create jewelry with a touch of individuality

A design tool that enables amateur designers to create jewelry pieces that uniquely represents their personalities is making rounds in the Internet. Developed by Israel-based startup Julbox, the eponymous digital platform, according to the company's website, "empowers creative entrepreneurs without any prior design knowledge or experience to sell their accessories online," or simply create jewelry for themselves.

Julbox's founders, husband and wife Yoav and Maya Caspi, and friend Nimrod Shory, were inspired to create the platform after realizing that unique jewerly is not only expensive to purchase but also to produce. The tool aims to enable everyone, from novices to professional designers, to take part in the creative jewerly-making process. In addition, all jewerly creations on Julbox come at a set fixed price.

The digital platform is user-friendly as well. Designers can just drag and drop different shapes, symbols, letters and trimmings into the interface then preview the whole design in just minutes. They can also choose if the base is made of 18K gold or sterling silver. For those who feel that designing is not their thing, they can ask professional jewelry designers to customize a piece for them.

Users can also open an online store on the Julbox marketplace to showcase and sell their creations to others. The platform connects to various social media, allowing designers to display their artistic talents to family, friends and followers.
