To boost competitiveness, suppliers press on with R&D to ensure enhanced reliability and stability of solenoids. They have high precision, low temperature rise and long operating life as objectives. The selection also includes water-resistant models, with options of IP65 and above.

The majority of makers source materials and components such as coils, armatures and cases from local providers, turning to foreign suppliers when required only.

The cost of manufacturing inputs rose in the past six months and forced some companies to adjust their prices. In the coming months, most manufacturers expect no further increases.
