Ferretti Group is headquartered in Forli, north-central Italy, which was once the capital of ancient Rome and the hometown of Alighieri, the father of Italian. The Ferretti Shipyard was founded in 1968 by brothers Alessandro Ferretti and Norberto Ferretti. Then Ferretti's first yacht came out. In the 1980s, Ferretti began to specialize in the manufacture of luxury yachts and established a new factory in Forlì, Italy, where the group is now headquartered.
