Ozone Generators Present an Alternative to Chlorine

Used as an alternative to chlorine for disinfecting, purifying and removing color from water, ozone generators are expected to experience market growth in the coming years. The category reached $1.1 billion in 2021 and is projected to increase to $1.5 billion by 2026, or at 6.2 percent CAGR during the period, according to MarketsandMarkets. Variants with an enamel pipe are expected to become more popular in the near future.

Chinese manufacturers ensure their products comply with GB standards, as well as with UL, CE, CB, CSA, EMC, EMF, ETL, GS, LFGB, SASO and RoHS. They usually use materials from domestic sources.

Ozone generator prices have remained stable thanks to a similar trend in material costs. This is expected to hold until the end of 2023.
