Pocket projector displays HD videos on 100in screen

Billed as a "pocket movie theater," the model PaPa Pro pocket projector from Beijing PaPa is equipped to project a video or an image in HD on a 100in screen. Aspect ratio is 4:3 or 16:9. The pocket projector utilizes a digital light processing optical chipset from TI for more vivid images. On its surface is a touch panel used to control the device. Alternatively, the model can be controlled using a smartphone. The Android 4.4-based model supports Google Play. Wireless transfer speed between mobile phones and the model reaches 10MBps. The model runs on a quadcore CPU and an octa-core GPU with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. Weighing 200g, the model fits in the palm and is light enough to allow the user to bring it anywhere such as in the car or at campsites. Supported video formats are AVI, MP4, MOV and RMVB. The model supports USB 2.0, OTG Micro-USB and audio output.

Beijing PaPa was founded by former senior executives of Tencent and Alibaba in 2014. The company now focuses on smart video and entertainment products. In July, the company has raised 7.2 million in Series A round.
