For EMI suppression, this rectangular ferrite from Core-Tech Corp. has 15 to 83ohm minimum impedance at 25MHz and 39 to 165ohm at 100MHz. It suits flat ribbon cable assemblies, hard disk ribbon cables, and internal ribbon cables between circuit boards and data connectors and those with series digital signal buses.

The 17x17mm unit has a precision-formed smooth surface to prevent damage to wire insulations. The slot length ranges from 16 to 60mm.

Core-Tech has seven production lines and more than 250 workers in factories in Taiwan and mainland China. It has a monthly manufacturing capacity of 500 million units. Sharp, Kitagawa, Delta, Feelux and Vestel are among the maker’s major customers.
