This interactive educational robot from Shenzhen Shenghang Photoelectricity Co. Ltd, iRoom Robot RE-1701 model, incorporates a 16-bit processor with a voice IC and 8MB flash memory, and supports 8GB expansion. It is equipped with four touch sensors, and temperature and gravity sensors.

Named Idol, the unit runs on Android 4.4 or iOS 7 and above, and can talk, tell stories, sing songs and imitate movements. When connected to an app, it turns into a responsive pet.

The robot can “learn” math, English, logic and cognition, and the eyes change from white to blue, green, yellow or purple when doing so.

Shenzhen Shenghang’s wholly owned factory has a monthly manufacturing capacity of 20,000 to 30,000 units. Products carry the iRoom brand.
