SMEs from India and Southeast Asia showcased creations highlighting their countries' culture and heritage.
The Hinrich Foundation's initiative to boost trade from developing sourcing regions brought buyers into contact with SMEs from across Asia that otherwise would not be able to bring their creative, high-quality products to the Global Sources Fashion show. The New Markets Pavilion features bags, accessories and garments from India, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. Many of the products on show use materials or techniques unique to their country of origin.
