Jellyfish is quickly becoming the coolest new pet to have around these days, with the aquatic animals making their way from the ocean to international pet expos, and eventually to the home via commercial jellyfish breeders. On the market nowadays are several tanks designed specifically to care for jellyfish, and one example is this model from twin brothers Brock and Blake Gratton from Saratosa, Florida.

The JellyTank is a modern take on a desktop aquarium, offering features that provide jellyfish an environment conducive for long-term habitation, and the user convenience in terms of maintenance, care and cost. It also helps that the tank's sleek and color-changing LED body add to a home's aesthetics and mood.

The compact nano aquarium adopts a pump-driven laminar water flow that mimics the currents that jellyfish experience in their natural habitat. It also incorporates a biological filtration system that ensures that the water quality is optimal.

Measuring 7.5x13x16.5in, the tank can hold up to five gallons of water. It is made of acrylic and comes in ultra-white or premium-black.

JellyTank's Kickstarter campaign was very successful, reaching more than 7x the amount requested, surpassing the goal within three days. Shipping will begin in May this year.
