Smart door lock jumbles PIN on touchpad after use

A smart door lock that is safe from spy cameras and password peeping was recently launched on Kickstarter. The lock, called Pin Genie, groups a user’s 10-digit PIN into four buttons on the touch keypad and jumbles the numbers after every use or press. Up to eight passcodes can be authorized. Temporary codes for guests are also supported.

The smart door lock is Bluetooth-enabled and works with the PIN Genie Android and iOS app for remote unlocking. It can be opened via its physical key when needed. The lock also features a mode where the owner can shut off the keypad to prevent tampering. It can give off an alarm.

PIN Genie provides a unique yet simple way of securing further smart door locks. Currently, many models typically combine unlocking methods, including cards, passwords, codes, app keys, and even biometrics which is also popular.
