"Connected" smart home products that sync with other intelligent electronics grabbed the spotlight at the Global Sources Electronics show.

From light bulbs to alarms, doorbells, sensors and windows, the ability to integrate a wider range of devices was a major trend in smart home products at Global Sources Electronics.

Suppliers offered more aesthetic choices, providing smart devices in diverse styles to better meet consumer demand.

Global Sources Electronics, the world’s largest electronics sourcing show, ran in two phases, April 11-14 and 18-21, at Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo.

The first phase featured emerging categories including smart home products, 4K TVs, virtual reality, gaming products, outdoor imaging, drones and personal transporters.
