Just a few months ago, the concept for a tool that can identify and replicate fonts with a touch of a button was introduced. Now, advancements in technology continue to impress with a prototype for a smart pen that can scan the color from any object and use it to write or draw.

The Cronzy pen is designed to generate colors in two ways. First, the user can aim the end of the model at any object, and it will automatically scan the color of the item, similar to an eyedropper tool. Second, via an accompanying app suitable for Android, iOS and Windows devices, the user chooses the colors that he likes to use. There are more than 16 million colors for selection.

The app will also allow the user to save his favorite colors and share them with other Cronzy pen owners.

The smart pen comes in a set consisting of a charging case, five interchangeable tips for different widths, two ink cartridges and an instruction manual. Cronzy will be available in silver or black.

Currently, the Cronzy pen is up on Indiegogo for funding with an early bird rate of $100.
