This split ferrite cable core from Core-Tech Corp. has a snap-on plastic case for secure mounting. Its surface is precision-formed to prevent damage to wire insulation.

The lightweight unit has 5 to 15mm radius. It suits round cables used for EMI suppression in computer peripherals, digital cameras, DVD players, internal and external power cables, internal cables between PC boards and data connectors, and fax machines, monitors, power supplies and printers.

Core-Tech has seven production lines manned by more than 250 workers. It has a monthly capacity of 500 million units. Sharp, Kitagawa, Delta, Feelux and Vestel are among the maker's key clients.
